Main Irish Tax Forms - P21, P45 and P60
The Main Tax forms you will come across as a PAYE employee are the P21, P45, and P60 Tax Forms. If you have lost any of your forms, We can still process your Tax Refund claim.
Form P60:This is issued to all employees at the end of each tax year. It states gross pay for the tax year, tax paid, PRSI and other deductions for that tax year.
It is only issued to you by an employer if you are in employment with them at the end of the tax year - if you leave during the tax year, you will receive a P45.
If you have two employers at the end of the tax year, you will receive a P60 from each.
Form P45:This form is issued to an employee when he or she leaves employment. It states gross salary, tax, PRSI and other deductions paid from the start of the tax year to the last day in the job.
It is only issued to you by an employer if you leave employment with them during the tax year - if you are still in employment with the employer at the end of the tax year, you will receive a P60.
Form P21:A PAYE Balancing Statement, or P21 is a statement issued by Revenue which shows your final tax liability. It can only be calculated at the end of the tax year.
It recalculates your existing taxes as know by Revenue. Receiving a P21 does not mean you have received your correct Tax Credits.
